Re: Oak Hill East 2025 beta

Only had time for a brief check here and there, didnt see any problems. I happened to see that the Hole 13 hole preview says hole 12, but thats a non-issue. Another non-issue, that I want to mention for the purpose of being food for thought - The first cut plays like rough, but to me it visually loo...

Re: True Blue Issues

I have not tried the original final version of the course that GoBucks mentioned, I cant get the course to crash on 1st green with the "True Blue Golf Club - HP Fix.crz " version currently available for download. I opened it in APCD, I think all the reflective water seems flat, so that pro...

Re: My apologies...

I was going to say the same thing as dwg about the Real Time Swing, seems like it could be worth a try for you FOOOOORE. It is probably difficult when first trying it out, especially putting is difficult with RTS I think, but not impossible to become good at, as some have shown. I checked out the be...

Re: Oak Hill East 2025 beta

I loved the old non-lidar beta version, especially the layout appealed to me, and I like the screenshots, so Im quite looking forward to this.

Ah your Intel GPU is the one in use for Links? My laptop has Nvidia+Intel but I use the Nvidia one for Links, I tried it anyway, course worked fine a full round.

Re: TPC Southwind

Just out of curiosity - did it not load at all, or did it crash on any certain hole? I could try on my Laptop, which has that setup combination.

Re: My player has disappeared

Nice, yeah Career Mode history/statistics are stored in a different file and location (normally C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Links 2003\Career), but you probably lost your previous player statistics for that player under Options > Player Stats.

Re: My player has disappeared

If it was me, I would probably try this: Delete the PIN file (or rather, cut it out and save somewhere else) from the Players folder. Then open Links anew and see if it will let you create a new player with the exact same name (most settings shouldnt matter, but try to use the same ones you think yo...

Re: My player has disappeared

I believe you can choose to backup normal files too with Windows Restore, but then the backups become large and I doubt many do it.

Re: Is there a thread to learn the steps to follow to install Links 2003 on a new Windows 11 computer?

I wonder if anyone has ever tried one of those programs like Windowed Borderless Gaming for Links. I used one of those over a decade ago for some other games, never tried with Links because I have never needed to. Their main purpose is not to provide compatibility to older games, but with some luck,...
