Re: What's up with the "user.lib" file
Yes there seems to be so many ways in which the user.lib file can cause problems if not kept clean, so thats why I always start fresh with each new course and occasionally reset it at other times too. Lez brings up some ways in which the user.lib can cause problems in his APCD video series, and how ...
Re: Adelade
Sorry to worry >_< Im all good, I got sort of addicted to a different game (no sports/sim, completely different genre) in the past few months. Ive felt bad about not being around here but then Links Corner was down when I tried to get back and it was also kinda daunting to get back with so many post...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To
Absolutely not. The game has a simulation engine that I built that uses 6 physical (driver, long irons, short irons, fairway woods, chipping and putting) and 1 mental rating (determines score deviation/consistency) that is assigned to each golfer when they are created. Upon creation, each golfer is...

Re: Look What I've Been Up To
I assume you manually enter your own score per hole? How does it react to different courses having different difficulties and conditions per round varying in difficulty? Like, how do you ensure the roster as a whole scores realistically low or high per course and conditions? Can I as a user customiz...

Re: Mouse sensitivity resetting to default on restart
Not sure if these will help, doubt it, but could be worth a try - Test closing down Links manually after changing it and see if it sticks then. Can also try running Links as Admin.

Re: Links 2003 will not run
Only issue is that the game seems to crash after loading 3 or 4 courses in succession, but I can live with that by simply re-starting Links 2003. This might be because you have a large amount of sky files in your Links 2003\skies folder and use the random skies option. The more sky files, the less ...

Re: cannot get top cam to show on screen
Sounds strange, make sure you have version 1.07, and possibly consider reinstalling Links.

Re: Using PyAutoGUI on the APCD
Nice, Linkster! I dont tend to use DEMs, but if I did, I bet I would use this. Yeah it feels like the clusters could be annoying - whenever I get them, I use to undo and retry clicking a slightly different spot rather than clean them up, but that might be hard to come up with serviceable coding for.
