Re: Keyboard causing Links to crash
May not be a particularly good solution even if it works, but is it possible to launch the game with the device unplugged and then connect the device once the game has already launched? Idk just a thought.

Re: Hamilton Golf & Country Club
This reminds me, I was going to post this tip about overlays but I forgot so I do it now instead, sadly the "Course design using Google Earth elevations" thread is locked so I cant post there, mods feel free to copy or move my post there if you want. When creating overlay from Google Maps ...

Re: For Windows 7 and Windows 10 Users...
Yea I recommend these kinda things too, everytime I get a new system with a new OS I always end up googling how to make certain things work or look like the old thing and feels like its super worth doing! I remember how I couldnt stand the new taskbar once, and the taskbar I use to this day is what ...

Re: L2k3 Memory Question
Yea killing off games sucks big time if it indeed leaves no possible fixes, I havent had personal experience of any old game I couldnt get to work eventually except a single one and I suspect it wasnt necessarily and ultimately the OS' fault there either and intend to try again one day in future som...

Re: L2k3 Memory Question
Just to add to the data pool, I run without any compatibility mode on win 10 laptop with no significant issues. dgVoodoo2 was required to fix major graphical glitches but I think I remember the game ran and was technically playable even before installing that, albeit graphically unenjoyable. To me a...

Re: CM fix
It is available here https://www.linkscountryclub.com/links-2003-v107 and it seems it was made specifically for the 1.07 patch, so safest to install it after the 1.07 patch I would say. I dont know what it fixes, but I have that patch and I was able to edit a season in progress after cloeks1 mention...

Re: Recommendation (cart paths)
Cant remember what courses but I definitely remember a couple times where I ended up on a path and I was forced to take a drop with one stroke penalty, that indeed sucks. Same thing happened once on a tiny piece of dirt right beside a sprinkler when I missed the fairway by about 1 foot... Those pena...

Re: 3D houses
There was talk of the clone tool recently, I thought it was after the forum move but cant find it now so I guess it was before it :/ Im pretty sure Sage tried it out, I would ask him. Forgot who supplied it.
P.S. John I sent you a pm about a month ago or something that I dont think youve seen.

Re: starting over again
The Pro roster players play in the tournaments at Professional level. Each new week you select a tournament and see the 4 yellow boxes of events right? Select the tournaments at professional level to play with the Pro roster. They should no longer be blocked by red crosses after you have won a Q-Sch...

Re: Can barely hear planted local sounds
Good call, I really thought you had hit the solution there Dan, but it turned APCD had me fooled in an entirely different way. Your suggestion was what got me excited and energized enough to in the end (after a good bit of confusion, back & forth and head scratching...) figure out the real issue...
