He used a good color mix for his tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens. Opening and closing with a 5 par is a nice idea. That's it for the good part of this 'retro' course. Retro because we are going back to very poorly laid out simple looking and playing courses. He found a tree and used it in groups, alone and in rows on every hole on the course in quantity. He then found a house and started to use it on every hole on the back nine until, fortunately for us, he ran out of them. He had three tee boxes but only one set of markers, and seemed to like putting the same amount of bunkers on practically each fairway and green. The course was flat and so were the greens, that way I couldn't tell if the elevation was correct. Usually I would tell the designer of a course such as this to study other courses before he build one, he did, the problem is he only studied courses that looked like this. A beta tester would have given up on this course and so am I. Yes it's playable, by that I mean that you can hit the ball from hole 1 to hole 18 without losing it. Please don't download this it's a total waste of time, usually I've been very polite when looking at these types of efforts but they keep on coming even with all the help that's available in the Designers and Course corner. Pass on it.
