| COURSE NOTES |
Hi fellow Linksters.
Welcome to the "tournament" version of the "Coeur d'Alene Resort Course".
During the construction of the Resort Course, I noticed that the floating green on hole 14 was set at a close distance to all of the tees. This short distance was listed on the score card, so I built the course to match the scorecard. When I got near completion, I thought it would be nice to have the option to play the 14th from it's full championship distance with the green moved to it's maximum distance of 218 yards.
I put the subject for a "championship" version up for discussion to anyone that might also like the idea, and there was some interest expressed in a "tournament" edition. After some discussions with the interested parties, I made the decision to turn it over to them to re-design several of the easy hole as they saw fit. "A&P", Adelade and Pete (pmgolf) took the lead in the project, and I put my full faith and trust in their ideas. I felt comfortable in thinking that nothing but good things could happen to it.
After many ideas and re-design discussions, they finally turned it over to me with detailed plans and drawings of what they thought would make a more interesting and challenging course for tournament (or just fun) play.
I want to thank Adelade and Pete, (and anyone else that may have been part of the design ideas along the way), for all the time and effort they put into this project.
