| COURSE NOTES |
Bakers Flat was originally designed by Jeff Kramer in 2009. Jeff and I became good friends through Links Corner and after becoming bored and disappointed with Desperation Hills (Creek as it was back then) in early 2016 I was looking for something new.
I had a Bakers Flat course file handy and started fiddling and decided to strip it back completely and do some renovations with the goal of a surprise gift to Jeff. Towards completion in 2017 I sent some pictures to Jeff of "my" new course and he was very enthusiastic, not realising it was his course in a new skin. It was an enjoyable moment when I finally revealed the truth.
Sadly, as it often seems, for whatever reasons we lose touch with people and I haven't been in contact with Jeff for a number of years. I tried to reconnect recently with no luck but I hope he is well and we can talk soon and that he gets to enjoy the final version of our "collaboration".
Thanks to Pete Massengill for adjusting the pins and Daniel Watson for his wonderful panorama that fits the course so well and proved to be the inspiration to get this finished.
Sorry for the essay but I wanted people to know why I did this course - not for praise or to win awards but as thank you gift to someone for being a good mate.
