Course Notes: This is an update of Leigh Lakes with New Textures and Seam Blends.
There are now Five Tee positions for each hole, and the Greens have 18 Pin placements instead of just Six.
It was nice to hear that some members were still playing it and I hope that they like the new one. I would like to add that all the Bunkers - Lakes - Greens and Fairways have not
been altered in any way, they are still the same shape and in the same position, I have just added a Seam Blend to them.
The course now has Hole Previews - Splash Screen and Panorama.
I would like to thank Daniel for his help with the Panorama, a great addition to the course. Also a big thanks to all the members who have made textures and objects available.
The original paths were just scattered over the course, now the path runs in a continuous loop along side of each hole, from Tee to Green and then on to the next Tee.
The course was intended as a challenge and it's been kept that way. If you want to try out your skills and don't mind a poor score then give it a try.
The Planting could be a bit better but it was my first course and all I had to go on when I first joined was Arts book and some help from other designers. I am now classed as an
experienced Novice.
My next job is to scrap everything and re-load to try and sort out the problems I am having with the planting sets. For no known reason it came up with Critical Files are missing.
It did not say what files but all the 3D objects, etc. went missing and I had quite a problem getting things to work again.
