First Impressions:
This is a fictional course with a park style setting. The first thing that should be mentioned is the splash screen. Very nicely done and worth the download just to see it. This course meanders around several lakes and there are quite a few other water hazards to avoid. The bunkers and some of the water hazards have a wooden bulkhead instead of the usual rough texture around them. This gives the course a unique look but the effect could probably have been done a little better. The greens here are very large, some flat, some with tiers, and some are undulating. The fairways are a good width with no second cut. There is sparse planting and the variety has been limited but it looks good in this setting. There are numerous buildings, fences, bridges, and other objects on the course. The tee boxes are all raised with the same wood texture applied as was used in the bunkers. All of the tees afford a good view of the hole. The tee markers are very colorful and look good. The deep grass texture used in the rough gives the course a nice contrast.
Strategy:
The par 5's are reachable and there is a reachable par 4. The par 3 6th hole has an island green. Fairly straightforward strategy here as there is little reason to cause you to have to move the ball from right to left or vise versa. Fairly flat fairways and puttable greens should allow for a good score.
Favorite Hole:
Par 5 9th. Very good tee shot here.
Overall:
This is a pleasant course with a lot of good challenge to it. It's probably not a course you'll want to keep as part of your permanent collection but you'll enjoy playing it a few times.
