| COURSE NOTES |
The course was designed in 2003 by Pete Dye on filled in swamp land near Avondale, LA. It is a par 72 playing at 7372 yards from the tips. There are 71 bunkers on the course which are fronted by mounds, due to the fact that the course is built on a swamp the designers could not go below the water table so they built the surrounding mounds instead. The greens are large and very undulating and can result in some very difficult putts if your approach shots are not well placed.
