Designer: This is Jim Schiavoni's second offering as a course designer, after the first course he made, Field of Dreams (LC Score of 35 with one Silver Star), a 2001 course, which has now been discontinued.
Course History: This course seemed to be made as something for the designer and his friends to have a joke around with, but should not have been released to the public, as it is a course built for 'personal' pleasure (ie. Nudity, Illegal Drugs) and not in anyway designed for the enjoyment of the public.
Playability: This course from the outset looked like it was playable, but as my round continued, I realised that was not going to be the case. The designer has made some holes exactly like you would find on a normal course, but then on other holes, you find that the holes are 'nothing' like you would find on a real course and barely even fit into the 'imaginary' style of hole designing. For instance the 2nd shot on Hole 7 was completely blind, and literally the only way to play the hole was by using the top view. Then I came to the Par 5, 8th Hole; from the outset I thought this will be two easy shots to the green, but I was horribly mistaken, as I ended up being 'stuck' amongst the vast amount of illegal drug crops (Screenshot 3) and ended up scoring an 8 on the hole. Basically the course was not very enjoyable to play, and even though my round statistics were very poor, +6 (78), 66% Fairways and 44% Greens in Regulation with a total of 27 Putts, I was really happy when I finished my round, because I knew I would never have to play the course ever again.
The Course: The designer must have drifted in and out of consciousness when designing this course, as some holes are designed really well, but then the others are complete disasters. For instance Hole 12 has an impossible pin that you should not even bother trying to aim at, but then Hole 17 is good, as it forces you to lay-up before your next shot. Overall the course is very weird as it combines snow, palm tress, illegal drugs and nudity together, and is nothing like you have seen or could possibly ever see again.
Favourite Hole: Hole 3 was my favourite hole (Screenshot 1), as it was scenic, playable, and had a large green to shoot onto.
Technically: The snow in many places looks like plastic (Screenshot 2), as it has lines, edges and in many cases a 'box effect' on the actual snow. The palm trees were not a good choice to plant all over this course, as they didn't match with the snow, and the illegal drug crops were not needed in the size and quantity that they appeared all over the course. Seaming was non-existent, as the bunkers and water were not seamed together with the other textures, while there were weird humps, inlets and lines in the green, which I don't think were meant to be there, but still were. Finally, I don't know if it is just me, but when I got to the 12th Hole, the glare suddenly got really bright and I needed to put some sunglasses on, and then on the 13th Hole it went back to normal?
Other: The Naked women on each tee are small in size, but were annoying and really serve no point, as they are too small to actually distract your tee shots. The figure skaters were a funny addition and didn't look too bad, but because it was water and not ice they were on, it didn't really work putting them there. I really didn't understand the horses and vehicle on Hole 6, while the Taj Mahal behind the 8th green was funny, but yet out of place, however the grave on Hole 16 was a good custom extra. The course did have Custom Flags, but didn't have Hole Previews or Handicaps.
Download Value: For its size, this course doesn't offer as much as other small size courses (eg. Flood Lands GC), and for people with slow internet, it would not be a recommended download. This course was made as a joke between friends, and should only be downloaded if you have fast internet and want a laugh yourself. It's important to remember that this course should only be downloaded if you are over the age of 18, as it contains nudity and reference to illegal drugs.
