So, I'm thinking of creating a 2010 PGA Tour season for LS2003, as the PGA Tour seasons available don't cover 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2014.

Firstly, here's the Season schedule and course listing:
SBS Championship: Kapalua Plantation Course
Sony Open in Hawaii: Waialae
Bob Hope Classic: Arrow Canyon Resort, Candlestick Blue
Farmers Insurance Open: Torrey Pines South 2002
Northern Trust Open: Riviera Country Club
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am: Pebble Beach 2004, Spyglass Hill, Old Cypress East Course[1], Pebble Beach 2004
WGC-Accenture Championship: Dove Valley Ranch
(Mayakoba Classic: Cabo Del Sol)
Waste Management Phoenix Open: TPC Scottsdale
The Honda Classic: Crandon Park/Burnt Pine at Sandestin[2]
WGC-CA Championship: Doral Blue Monster
Transitions Championship: Innisbrook-Copperhead
Arnold Palmer Invitational: Bay Hill 2015
Shell Houston Open: Redstone Tournament Course
Masters Tournament: Augusta National
Verizon Heritage: Harbour Town Golf Links
Zurich Classic of New Orleans: TPC Louisiana
Quail Hollow Championship: Quail Hollow Club
The Players Championship: TPC Sawgrass
Valero Texas Open: Woodpecker GC[3]
HP Byron Nelson Classic: Aviara[4]
Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial: Colonial Country Club
The Memorial Tournament: Muirfield Village
St Jude Classic: Three Horseshoes[5]
US Open: Pebble Beach 2004
The Travelers Championship: TPC River Highlands
AT&T National: Tall Pines Estate/Quidnet[6]
John Deere Classic: TPC Deere Run
The Open Championship: St Andrews the Old Course HD
(Reno-Tahoe Open: Los Lagos GC)[7]
RBC Canadian Open: Glen Abbey/Crystal Pines/Royal Montreal[8]
Greenbrier Classic: Pilgrim Trails/Tall Pines Estate[9]
WGC-Bridgestone Invitational: Firestone C.C. South Course 2016
(Turning Stone Resort Championship: Engineers CC)[10]
PGA Championship: Whistling Straits
Wyndham Championship: Shaking Tree Golf Club[11]
The Barclays: Pine Valley[12]
Deutsche Bank Championship: TPC Boston
BMW Championship: Cog Hill/Olympia Fields
The Tour Championship: Babylon Ridge[13]

[1] Substitute for Monterey Peninsula
[2] Substitute for PGA National (There is a PGA National, but its still in the beta stage)
[3] Substitute for TPC San Antonio
[4] Substitute for Las Colinas
[5] Substitute for TPC Southwind
[6] Substitute for Aronimink
[7] Substitute for Montreux
[8] Substitute for St George's G&CC
[9] Substitute for Old White TPC
[10] Substitute for Atunyote
[11] Substitute for Sedgefield
[12] Substitute for Ridgewood
[13] Substitute for East Lake

However, I'm at a quandary at how to do it. While I could modify an existing season (I was thinking the 2009 PGA & European Tour season), I don't want to run into a potential copyright issue should I upload it. If I was to create a new season, I would likely need to create the European and Nationwide tours as well.

Please share any season tips and course suggestions you may have. Wind and green conditions would be decided with a random number generator.

I don't think you have to worry about copyright issues as long as you offer it for free.

In that case, I'll acknowledge the creator of the 2009 tour in my readme.

After some thought, I've decided that:

Crandon Park will substitute for PGA National.
Tall Pines Estate will substitute for Aronimink.
Royal Montreal will substitute for St George's G&CC.
Bull Run HD will substitute for The Old White.
Babylon Ridge will substitute for East Lake.

I wouldn't worry about PGA National being a beta. It's more than good enough for use, and I have for some handicap rounds at LSPN.

I've just given it a test round and you're right. (I did put three in the water over the course of the round though)

OK, so with apcd-courses dead, I need some advice.

Can anyone suggest alternatives for the following courses (for the courses they were substituting for):

Old Cypress East (Monterey Peninsula; I've downloaded the 2001 version of Pacific Breaks)
Tall Pines Estate (Aronimink; Maybe Coogans Bluff or Pilgrim Trails?)
Babylon Ridge (East Lake; Maybe Sapphire Lake?)

In no particular order, you might consider:

Crooked Creek by Wayne Hewitt.
Blackwolf Run by Matthew Rose.
Shadowlands by Mike Jones.

HD versions are available for at least 2 of these.

Shadowlands (for those who got it with LS2003) or Blackwolf Run might be doable for the AT&T National. Crooked Creek is only available on apcd-courses however so that's a no-go.

I did find the free 2001 version of Pacific Breaks, so I'll use that as Monterey Peninsula. Coogans Bluff might be a good substitute for East Lake too.

Here is the post-season fall series. Again, if anyone has any suggestions for substitutes (No apcd-courses P2P until the site goes back up)

Ryder Cup; Celtic Manor Golf Resort Final (Will take form of 24 player tournament)
Viking Classic: Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club
McGladrey Classic: Tish Island (The MS version of Sea Island doesn't sound worth it)
Frys.com Open: The Pinnacle
Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open: Sorento
WGC-HSBC Champions: Mount Juliet (I couldn't find Sheshan or Mission Hills, so how about an Irish course?)
Childrens Miracle Network Classic: Either 1) Eagle Trace Golf Club, San Simeon GC and Resort and Lost Lake Legend or 2) Crandon Park and Burnt Pine at Sandestin

Many of these substitutes were made by ausgg with his 2008 season and I wish to thank him for the inspiration.

Sorrento by Steve Pope is a P2P course. Also not sure where at on Barclays, but Ridgewood by Peter Beckwith even though written as a Final/Beta is really a quality course if wish to stay realistic as possible using the real courses for the 2010 season..

In that case, I will move the Pinnacle to the Justin Timberlake Open and use Classic Club for the Frys.com Open.

I initially chose Pine Valley because it got a near-perfect score, but I'll check Ridgewood out.

I have made a few minor changes to the schedule:

The Bob Hope Classic will take place on Classic Club and Candlestick Blue in an A-B-B-A format.
The Frys.com Open will be moved back to The Pinnacle
The Justin Timberlake Open will utilise the free 2001 version of Arrow Canyon Resort.

I see that you only have 2 courses listed for The Bob Hope Classic in 2010. Actually there were 4 courses used over 5 rounds, those being PGA West---Arnold Palmer design, La Quinta, Silver Rock and PGA West---Jack Nicklaus design. PGA West---Arnold Palmer designed here in Links by Matt Henry should be thought of being added even though is listed only as a beta, but it is a quality course anyway and that course was used during the real tournament in 2010. Matt Henry also designed the Classic Club that you note as being used for your season and has had The Bob Hope Classic played there in some years around about 2006 until 2008. If PGA West---Arnold Palmer design course were used that would count 3 courses over 4 days of play for tournament as there is no way possible to set up a 5 round tournament here as The Bob Hope Classic used to be played through the 2011 PGA season.

G.U.K.

Thanks for taking on this task. Must be pretty tough to sort thru the courses & the feedback/ Well sorry about this, but here is some more.
I know the Toronto & many other Canadian courses quite well.

I don't know what criteria you are using to select your courses, but I would select mine on look and feel (not what the par is for instance)

Because, Royal Montreal is in the 2014 Tour Season and it is flat and St.George's is not. I think the course that most resembles St. Georges in "look & feel" is Scioto C.C. So I'm thinking it would be most appropriate here. Please read my earlier review of Scioto for more background.

I've done several past seasons and as such have done a bit of research in this regard. If you are looking to be as realistic as possible, for the AT&T Pebble Beach tourney (not the U.S. Open), instead of the traditional top 70 and ties cut at 36 holes, the cut for the AT&T instead comes after 54 holes, and is only the top 60 and ties. Just thought I would pass on that tidbit.

Thank you for letting me know.

Scioto will make a good substitute for St George G&CC, but unfortunately PGA West didn't pass muster.

Does anyone have a suggestion for the Walt Disney World courses? I'm looking at Crandon Park/Burnt Pine at Sandestin by virtue of them being in Florida but if anyone else has any suggestions I'll be glad to hear them.
