..........5 years later and this course may be back from the dead, Laugh

Since I've been getting back into Links and the APCD I might as well try and get this course finished, maybe...

Have routed all 18 holes so now the fiddling with textures, seam blends, elevations, planting etc, etc begins.

Looks good. Here's hoping you find the energy to polish it off. It has always had the look of being a gem of a course.

Great to see you got the bug again, Todd. Now I can needle you about making progress on a course, too! Laugh

You know what I hate.
I hate when you've been away from the APCD for a long while and you come back and spend hours mucking around with textures and doing some course work and you come up with something you really like only to realize you've gone back to a too earlier saved version of the course which is now useless. So now you won't be satisfied until you replicate what was done in a later version.

Thanks guys.
Had a trial run with the right file this time, but a different hole.
Sorta happy with it.
Downside is that it's gonna like take forever!

Slowly coming together, but this is starting to do my head in. Still need a decent sandy/desert and dry grass textures.

Think I'm finally settled on a desert type texture. Now just a matter of getting the color right.
Any Opinions?

Thanks Sage and Max.

I'm torn between 2, 3 or 4. 1 is too much on the pinkish side I think.
Thumb Up
