I have never played this course and managed to stay out of the water. I have a love hate relationship with it but can't seem to stop playing it. Great work. Fun ti play, frustrating for scoring, visually great! Definitely an ace.

I am pretty familiar with the courses & work of the great designers here. I just finished playing Bull Run twice. Once to post a score & second time to appreciate the depth, detail & beauty of the design. There are other similar ACE worthy courses (Pilgrim Trails & Bethpage Black immediately spring to mind). Needless to say when I played this course (which had 4 votes all ACES?), I new that some little Avalon gremlins and trolls had been at work.

I have said before I do not give Bogies (you can check my other reviews for an explanation why), but here I was really tempted just to help even out the nonsense. Anyway, getting even is not my style. This is a pretty mediocre 386 retro style course with a touch of fantasy and some great views so I gave it a par.
