Looking for new RuKsHuK.EXE file links 2001.

My links 2001 does not start.( links 2003 no Problem ).

There was a known issue in the past with some anti-virus programs (notably AVG) falsely identifying Links file rukshuk.exe as an infected file. It may have been quarantined by your anti-virus program which is why Links can't find it.

No,This is not a virus problem.
Links 2000 and Links 2003 Work normally....(WINDOWS 7)

Since I don't speak German, I don't know what that dialog box is suggesting - is the file missing or possibly corrupt?

I might suggest a couple options:

1. you could do a forum search on "rukshuk" and look for other possible explanations. When I did that to find the link to the thread that I already posted, there were plenty of other threads with a mention of "rukshuk".

2. just reinstall Links

Armand from the forum here posted a Links 2001 NOCD which contains the file you are having problems with. I know because I came across the thread and downloaded the NOCD thinking I may try Links 2001 eventually and it may come in handy. You might want to replace your file with his and see if it works. Sorry, don't have a link to the thread so try a search.
